Just when we thought we were done with the Royals, Fallen Heir throws us right back into their world—only this time, it’s Easton at the centre of the chaos. If you thought Reed was a mess, buckle up. Easton Royal is reckless, charming, and completely out of control, making for a ride that’s just as addictive as it is frustrating.
Easton has always been the fun, cocky Royal—the one who brings the humour and the disaster in equal measure. In Fallen Heir, we finally get inside his head, and let me tell you, it’s a chaotic place to be. He’s self-destructive, impulsive, and utterly incapable of making good choices. And yet, there’s something about him that makes you like him, even when you want to shake some sense into him.
Enter Hartley Wright, the first girl who doesn’t swoon at Easton’s smirks and privilege. She’s got her own battles to fight, and unlike Ella, she has zero interest in being part of the Royals’ drama. Watching Easton try—and repeatedly fail—to win her over is both hilarious and painful. Hartley is the kind of strong, independent heroine I love, and her refusal to play by the Royals’ rules makes for some serious tension.
The rest of the Royals are still in the background, but make no mistake—this is Easton’s book. Callum is still struggling to hold the family together, Reed and Ella are off trying to live their lives, and the younger Royals remain as enigmatic as ever. But while Fallen Heir starts as Easton’s fun, reckless journey, it doesn’t take long for the drama to escalate in true Royal fashion.
If you thought Paper Princess and Broken Prince had brutal cliffhangers, Fallen Heir takes it to another level. Just when you think Easton might finally be getting it together, everything goes sideways in a way that had me yelling at my book. Erin Watt really knows how to make sure we come back for more.
Fallen Heir is a different kind of Royal story—one filled with Easton’s brand of charm and self-destruction, mixed with a romance that burns slow and a plot that delivers twist after twist. If you’re already hooked on this series, prepare for more drama, more heartbreak, and an ending that will leave you desperate for Cracked Kingdom.
