Twisted Palace, by Erin Watt

The Royal rollercoaster comes to an end with Twisted Palace, and if you thought Erin Watt was done with the drama—think again. The final book in the series throws Ella and Reed straight into chaos, forcing them to fight for their future in a way neither of them saw coming. Secrets explode, betrayals cut deep, and the stakes are higher than ever. But does it deliver the satisfying ending we all hoped for? Let’s talk.

From the moment Ella Harper crashed into the Royals’ world, she’s had to prove she belongs. In Twisted Palace, that fight reaches its peak. With new enemies circling and the weight of scandal threatening to crush them, Ella has never been more determined. What I love about her in this book is that, despite everything, she refuses to let anyone dictate her life. She’s tough, smart, and still the girl who can stand toe-to-toe with the Royals without flinching.

And then there’s Reed. If Broken Prince was about his redemption, Twisted Palace is about proving whether he can survive the fallout. He’s accused of something devastating, and suddenly, his world isn’t just about privilege and power—it’s about survival. Watching Reed fight for his freedom while also trying to protect Ella? Heartbreaking and intense.

The entire Royal family is on edge, and it shows. Easton, as always, is the chaotic mess we can’t help but love. Gideon’s secrets start unravelling, and Callum is struggling to keep the family from completely imploding. Just when you think you understand these characters, Erin Watt throws in another twist. It’s messy, it’s dramatic, and it’s exactly why we love this series.

Unlike the first two books, Twisted Palace leans into a murder mystery subplot, and honestly? It’s a lot. Its also not my favourite genre, so there is that. The stakes are high, but the shift in tone is noticeable. While the series has always been dramatic, this one brings a different kind of tension. Some of the twists hit hard, others feel a bit over the top, but it all leads to a finale that will have you flipping pages at lightning speed.

Was this the ending I expected? Not exactly. But was it the ending Ella and Reed deserved? Absolutely. Twisted Palace is an emotional, high-stakes conclusion that cements the Royals as one of the most addictive, drama-filled series out there. It’s got love, scandal, and enough chaos to keep you hooked until the very last page.
